Encounter

I was fortunate enought to meet Mary Matilyn, her two siblings and their mom in Los Angeles, summer of 2007.
Me and another girl, Kim, took a taxi to their appartment and waited untill they got home from running eirands. When they came up the stairs we met these 3 wonderful ladies!(later came Aaron)
Mary Matilyn gave me a really cute carved animal that she had bought in South Africa when she shot a pilot and I gave her a belated birthday present.
Seeing her face when she opened the gift was priceless. I had given her a bag of Hello Kitty stuff and she loved it!
We talked for a while and then we went to get some lunch. We decided to go to Universal city walk to eat at one of their favourite restaurant - Tutu Tango.
While there we talked about her pilot being picked up and moving to South Africa would be, how they started in the buisness and alot of other things
We then walked around City Walk, had some icecream and took a bunch of pictures. Later we drove by the Hallmark Channel to see if Mary's billboard was still up but no luck.
There she showed me this really cool doll that actually had her voice! Later on their mom drove us to another family that we were gonna stay with for the evening.
I truly had one of the best days of my life! Mary is so full of life and they are just the sweetest and nicest people I could ever have met! I hope I get to be so fortunate to meet them again one day!
